An online workshop for drafting the three-year Ph.D. curricula in ICT was held today (activity 2.3.3), under the coordination of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” (UP).

A short introduction to the online meeting and the elaboration of the agenda was done by Prof. Dr. Lule Ahmedi from UP.
A short welcoming speech was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UP – Prof. Asoc. Isak Shabani.
A brief presentation of the main components of PhD regulation of the University of Prishtina from the Vice-rector for research of UP, Prof. Dr. Kurtesh Sherifi.
A proposal for the three-year Ph.D. study curricula in ICT – Prof. Asoc. Kadri Sylejmani, UP.
The Ph.D. study model at Vienna University of Technology, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Nysret Musliu, Databases and Artificial Intelligence Group, Faculty of Informatics.
After the break, the presentation continued with A Ph.D. graduate perspective: Computer Vision Research meets industry, Dr. rer. nat. Kujtim Rahmani, Alumni of Bundeswehr University Munich.
After the lunch break, working groups were formed and each group separately worked on the joint document.
The last hour of the workshop was dedicated to each group’s preseantions on their respective work.
