On 03.03.2023 a delegation of Rector, coordinators, and partner institutions from Linnaeus University Sweden and NTNU Norway recently visited the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren in Kosovo. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the universities and explore potential collaboration opportunities in research and education. During the visit to the University campus the partner institution presented the research lab established throw the PhDICTKES project and their students presented the research which is conducted at this lab with their professor.

 

During their visit, the delegation had a guided city tour of the historical part of Prizren. They explored the city’s rich cultural heritage, visiting historical landmarks such as the medieval fortress, the Sinan Pasha Mosque, and the League of Prizren Museum.

 

The delegation also met with officials from the University of Prizren to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The two parties explored opportunities for joint research projects and student exchange programs.

The visit was hailed as a success by both the Swedish and Norwegian representatives and the University of Prizren officials. Hopefully, this visit will lead to greater collaboration between the universities, which will benefit students and faculty members.
